MGME’s dedication to sustainability begins with pixels and extends to global programs.

We believe our planet’s health depends on our commitment to sustainability. While sustainability can take many forms, it’s vital we all do our part, and it can be something small, like a seed.

What is E.A.R.T.H.?

Environmental Awareness Restoring Threatened Habitats

In addition to being our only home, E.A.R.T.H. is a movement designed to offset the carbon emissions from our many pitch cycles.

Delivering a pitch requires significant time and resources throughout the entire RFP cycle, from issuing to responding to pitching. During that time, all participants, from the issuer to the responder, will have generated substantial carbon emissions. E.A.R.T.H. was created to offset emissions from our pitches across all phases of an RFP.

From Pixels to Global Programs to Promotional Efforts.

MGME will always seek ways to be more sustainable, whether it’s pixels, our client-focused programs, or promoted efforts.

In 2023, we rebranded our agency, choosing Barlow as our brand font. Recently, we discovered that a fellow Canadian agency used Barlow as the basis for a new sustainable font, aptly named Barlow Sans Waste. This moment of serendipity led us to adopt this new eco-friendly font for our pitch decks. Kudos to INNOCEAN Canada for its dedication to sustainability.

Whether it’s deconstructing a Caesar salad, sourcing environmentally focused venues and hotels, or hiring partners who share our commitment to sustainability, MGME will always build our plan with the planet in mind.

Promoted Efforts.

New business is the lifeblood for millions of companies worldwide, and the Request For Proposal process is crucial to winning pitches. The entire pitch cycle, from RFP to submitted proposal, generates enormous carbon emissions. Multiply that by the number of pitches worldwide, and the planet is worse for wear. That’s why MGME developed E.A.R.T.H., Environmental Awareness Restoring Threatened Habitats, a sustainability program that encourages companies to plant trees to offset their pitch-based carbon emissions. How it Works

No matter which side of the table you’re on, either issuing an RFP or answering it, you know many resources go into all three phases of the pitch cycle: Issuing. Responding. Pitching. As such, that amount of pitch work produces significant carbon emissions.

MGME has partnered with EverTreen a global reforestation organization, and together, we’ll endeavor to reduce the carbon footprint of the entire RFP process by calculating our pitch-based carbon emissions and donating to a threatened habitat to offset them.

To support our goals, we developed the world’s first Pitch Carbon Calculator to determine how many trees are needed to offset emissions from the entire pitch process.
